How it works
TumpangBeli is a board, not a shop. We connect a buyer who needs something from a place they are not in, with a traveller who is already going there. Money never passes through us.
If you're buying
1 · Find who's going
Search by destination and month. You'll see the traveller's route, dates, spare luggage space, their fee, where they can hand over, and what they will and won't buy.
2 · Send a request
Tell them the item, your budget, and the shop or a photo if you have one. If you don't know the shop, say so — many travellers will find it for you.
3 · They buy, you get proof
Ask for the receipt and a photo of the item before you pay. A good traveller sends it without being asked.
4 · Handover and rate
Meet them, or they post it. You pay them directly — cash, DuitNow or transfer. Then rate the trip, and confirm it was completed.

1 · Post your trip
Where, when, how much space, your fee, and the handover area. Two minutes, and it's free.
2 · Say what you'll carry
Declare what you will buy and what you won't. Buyers trust a clear boundary more than a promise to do anything.
3 · Requests come to you
Buyers waiting for your destination get an email the moment you post. You don't need a crowd, a group, or a following.
4 · Agree, buy, hand over
Confirm the fee in writing, buy the item, keep the receipt, hand it over. Your completed count and rating build on their own.
Safety & rules
What protects you
- Every deal leaves a record: request, agreement, receipt, handover, rating.
- Ratings come only from buyers with a recorded request on that trip — no drive-by ratings.
- A report button on every trip and profile. We review reports within 24 hours.
- Completed-trip counts are shown next to every rating, so new users can't fake history.
What you should do
- Ask for the receipt and a photo before paying.
- Agree the fee and handover in writing on the platform before money moves.
- Declare what you carry at customs. Dutiable goods are the traveller's responsibility.
- Never send a deposit to someone with no completed trips.

Never for sale: a rating, a completed count, or the right to post. Those are earned or free.
Terms in plain words
- We are a venue. TumpangBeli publishes what users post and connects them. We are not a party to the sale, not a courier, and not an insurer.
- We never hold your money. No wallet, no escrow, no deposits. Payment is always directly between buyer and traveller.
- Deals done off-platform are your own. If you move to WhatsApp, nothing here is recorded and nothing here is guaranteed.
- Users are responsible for their own posts — including legality, customs duty and what they're allowed to carry.
- We remove content that breaks the rules or is reported, within 24 hours.
- Badges mean what they say. “Subscriber” is a paid tier. “ID checked” means we checked an ID — nothing else.
Phase 1 has no payment protection. Payment hold, receipts, refunds and disputes arrive in phase 2 — until then, buy from travellers with completed trips.
